You guys! Today is Jeremy and my wedding anniversary! 3 years!! WooHoo! It doesn’t really feel like it’s been that long. But at the same time I feel like we have been married for.Ever. Isn’t that funny? Plus our lives have been turned upside down in that time (thanks, Avery!). And I wouldn’t change a thing. Honest. I love those two crazies!
Jeremy and I got married in my favorite place in Minneapolis. Mill City Museum. If you are ever in Mpls, make sure you visit. It’s an awesome place with tons of photo ops.
The following photos are from our awesome photographer, Ginger Murray.
I have a bunch of completely random things rattling around my brain right now. So I’m just going to get them down here to clear up some space. That’s how it works, right?
The weather in Minnesota has been so wonderful the last few days. So last night Avery and I played outside. We have a little patch of grass outside our townhouse. I set out a blanket with some toys for her. Within seconds we were joined by one of the little boys from the house downstairs from us. He is 2 and is very friendly. His mom says he has never met a stranger, only best friends. Which was clear from the way he sat down right next to Avery and started playing. She was so excited. She loves little kids. You couldn’t wipe the grin off her face. It was so fun to watch. At one point he gave her a hug and a kiss. Heart melting stuff here, people.
The other boy was 10 months old. And he was walking. sigh. The one thing Avery hasn’t figured out yet. Actually, I bet she has, but she has no interest in walking. Legs turn to noodles when we try to stand her up. I know she will do it in her own time. But I think she may be the tallest non-walking baby ever.
Anywho, back to playing outside. After the boys had to go inside for bedtime (another thing to work on, Avery. Normal baby bedtime. Not 9:30) Avery started crawling around in the grass. Trying to eat everything. She got her first taste of dirt since she is so quick and sneaky! At least she didn’t like it. I really wish I had my camera to capture her disgusted little expression and her dirt beard. It was too funny.
Additional random: On the way to dropping Avery off this morning I saw something interesting. A very elaborate prom invitation throughout the city. Signs attached to trees/poles saying “[girls name]” “will” “you” “go to” “prom” ans then an arrow sign which wasn’t on my way. I’m assuming it was the rest of the question. Isn’t that a little late for prom? I live in the city where I graduated high school and our prom was at the beginning of April, right? And my cousin has his senior prom last week. So either prom or way later then I remember, or this kid waited way too long to ask. I’m curious to which one it is.
I think that’s all for now. I’ll let you know if anything else pops in my head!
