April 6, 2012. The date I married off one of my besties. : )
Yesterday was a long, fun, tiring day. And I Instragrammed (I know, not really a word) most of the day. Forgive me, I don’t have a photo of the Bride and Groom. I suck. And my phone started dying. But for your enjoyment, here are the pictures I did take.
I didn’t get any pictures of the ceremony. It may have been rude to be snapping pics standing up in the front of the church. The ceremony was beautiful. I was surprised at how emotional I was. I was good, tear-free all day. Until I saw Kirsten walking down the aisle with her parents. She was so beautiful and looked so happy. The tears fell. You had to be pretty cold not to cry. 🙂 Listening to Chris and Kirsten say their vows was also emotional. You could hear in their voices how much they meant the words they promised each other. I’m so happy that someone I love so much found the one she is supposed to spend her life with.
The food was delicious!
It was a beautiful day and I am so honored that I got to play a role in my friend’s most special day. I love you Kirsten!
