May 4: Favorite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it.
Yes. I like this much better than yesterday’s prompt! I cheated a little. I chose 3 quotes. But they are all very different and I have pictures to go along with them. So that makes it okay.
I’ll be honest here. When I read the prompt for today, I didn’t have any quotes that jumped out to me. So I did what anybody in my shoes would do. I hit up Pinterest. Conveniently, they have a whole “Quotes” section!!
This first one is funny because it’s true.
I’m so glad Jeremy didn’t see this suggestion pre-wedding. Because I have slow internet rage issues. Big time. It’s 2013 people. I get that jet packs are too much to ask for. But reliable, fast internet? Should be mandatory. No excuses, people who run this type of thing. Don’t even get me started when my 4G is slow. I know, #firstworldproblems
On to Quote 2!
I know. Completely changing tone here. So keep up.
I first saw this quote right after I had Avery. Oh, man. Pregnancy hormones mixed with this really sappy mother/child quote. Cue the water works. Now that Avery is older and I am [somewhat] less hormonal I still love this quote. It perfectly illustrates the unique and powerful bond between a mother and her child.
Finally, Quote 3.
I think for your everyday use quote, I like this one best. I feel like this quote was said/written to describe me. I pray constantly. All.The.Time. It’s like I’m an addict. I give prayers of thanks. I pray for loved ones. I pray for strangers. When you post on Facebook that someone needs prayers, I’m on it! Sometimes I just ask God for some stillness and I listen. I can’t do anything else. I’m wired that way. It’s my outlet for everything. Anything.
It flows out of me.
It changes me.
